Grand Rapids outdoor film series, Movies on Monroe, is back this summer with six nights of double features.

Kicking off June 7, 2019 at 555 Monroe Ave NW, you can watch these movies on the big screen on the banks of the Grand River.

Movies are free and open to the public. Gates open at 6p.m. with per-movie entertainment. Movies start  7:30p.m., followed by a quick intermission, and then the second film.

You can bring blankets, chairs, wine, beer, other beverages and snacks to enjoy during the movies. Rental chairs are available for $2. There are food trucks on-site and other snacks you can buy.
