Need Help Adulting? The Grand Rapids Library Has Your Back!
If you’ve wondered how the heck you've made it through adulting thus far and could still use some basic life skills… you’re we're not alone, and thankfully there’s still hope (maybe).
The Grand Rapids Public Library is offering Adulting 101 classes in the month of May. According to their website this includes learning about home maintenance, job searching & managing your money. Classes are held at the library between 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on the following days:
- Monday, May 7th: Green Cleaning - making your own cleaning products
- Thursday, May 10th: Finding Work That Works - how to make the job search effective
- Thursday, May 24th: Tips to Create & Manage Your Spending Plan - think critically about spending
Each class is free to attend but is on a first-come first-serve basis.
Let's be honest, we all could use a little help with adulting so here's to hoping that one of these days we'll figure it out. If not, just fake it till you make it 😉
