NFL is Butt Hurt Because The Lions Picked Aiden Hutchinson So Fast
When the Detroit Lions had the chance to pick former Michigan Wolverine Aiden Hutchinson in the NFL Draft, they did it so fast that the NFL got mad.
Detroit Lions 2022 First Draft Pick
The Detroit Lions knew all along if Aiden Hutchinson was available after the Jacksonville Jaguars made their pick there was no question the Lions would select him as their number one pick.
There is so much excitement among the Detroit Lions players and coaches and the team management the Lions wasted no time in picking Hutchinson. In fact, as soon as Jacksonville picked Georgia's Travon Walker, a representative of the Lions ran up to the podium with their pick of Hutchinson.
Reason NFL was Mad at Detroit Lions
According to MLive, the reason the NFL was mad at the Lions for their quick pick of Michigan Wolverine defenseman Aiden Hutchinson is that it is a TV spectacle. The NFL had requested that teams take their time making their picks so the watching audience had more drama.
The Lions General manager Brad Holmes was quick on both his first two picks. Again this goes back to the excitement that is from Lion's players, coaches, and upper management. What is wrong with being excited? Excitement means from all levels of a team can lead to greatness. Plus the word excitement and the Detroit Lions don't get mentioned a lot in the same sentences so let them enjoy their moment.
Look at that genuine smile from Coach Dan Campbell who there is no doubt at all he is glad to have Aiden Hutchinson to play on Lion's defense.
When Hutchinson landed in Detroit there was a brand new Ford Bronco waiting for him. Welcome to the NFL young man!
Detroit Lions 2022 Draft Picks
The Detroit Lions picked up some great players to add to their roster with Hutchinson and Jameson Williams but overall did pretty darn good filling some holes on the roster with the rest of the picks.
I hope the excitement of the team continues and the Lions have a great 2022 season. I already can't wait for the season to begin.
