Mario Kart Champions Can Eat For Free at this Grand Rapids Restaurant
If you're a millennial (or younger) you may remember back in the day when you'd play Mario Kart until your hands ached trying to beat all of the computer characters.
I remember when I was in middle school home alone playing Mario Kart 64, I played some of the maps so much that I was able to lap the computers on the hardest mode, because it was all muscle memory for me.
So fellow nerds, it's your time to shine and maybe earn a free meal thanks to one of Grand Rapid's favorite spots, One Stop Coney.
In a recent social media post, they announced that they have been spending the last few days adding some new touches to their restaurant on Fulton Street
One of those new touches is a TV and N64 for customers to play while they wait on their meal. But, if you're truly great at the game (like I believe I am) they've offered a challenge to you...
In a recent instagram post they said if you decide to play their Mario Kart setup while you're waiting on your meal, it could earn you free food.
The challenge: If you can beat / get first place on Rainbow Road on 150cc (the hardest mode) before your meal is finished, you'll eat for free.
And trust me, tons of people have already thrown down their gauntlet to the challenge (myself included)
So if you're looking to support a great local business and possibly score a free lunch or dinner, stop by and see them before they regret all of the free breakfast burgers I end up winning.
