A reddit user posted about a trip his family took to Red Lobster and got more than just seafood.

Earlier this year the user lost his dad. For the past 30 years his parents had gone out to Red Lobster to treat themselves on their anniversary. However, this year it was the children who decided to take their mom out to dinner.

The server, who is only known as 'Taylor' asked the family if they were dining there for a special occasion or if it was just because. The family then told the server the story about how it was the anniversary of the parents but unfortunately the father had passed away earlier this year.

The server was very kind for the entire meal and at the end instead of a bill the family got a note that said...

"We are sorry to hear about your husband’s passing, but we appreciate your loyalty in spending 31 years of your anniversary with us. For your appreciation your meal is on us! We look forward to spending your next anniversary with us?

Sincerely,

Red Lobster + your server, Taylor"

It proves that there are still AWESOME people out there. Red Lobster has said that they were able to figure out which server it was and have rewarded them for their awesome customer service!
