UFO – Unidentified FLOATING Object – Captured on Tape in Northern Michigan
Okay, 'unidentified' might be a bit of a stretch, but what caused this weird phenomenon witnessed in a river in northern Michigan recently?

On January 8, Tahquamenon Falls State Park posted a video to social media showing a floating ice disk spotted in a river near Tahquamenon Falls in Michigan's Upper Peninsula.
The disk almost appears as though it was carved out of the ice by a person, but it turns out it's the result of a natural phenomenon.
What Causes Floating Ice Disks in Michigan Rivers?
Well, it's not aliens, unfortunately. In fact, it's just science.
According to the folks at Tahquamenon Falls State Park, these ice disks are formed, in part, due to changing water temperatures.

Another factor, they say, is the flow of the water. Basically, fast-moving water can cause a piece of ice to break off, then as the water twists around it, it also twists, smoothing out the sides of the piece of ice.
As warmer water moves to the surface and interacts with the ice, it keeps the disk spinning.
What Else Could the Ice Disks Spinning in Michigan Rivers Be?
While I'm glad that we have the actual answer, I liked some of the proposed answers a little better.
The folks at the park suggested that maybe it was an "otter marry-go-round", a "roulette wheel for fish gambling", or perhaps an "aquatic crop circle".

One commenter on the video suggested that it was a "Sasquatch frisbee" while another thought it might be a "space drone".
