A group of area mothers are coming together this weekend to voice their concerns with the latest gun violence in Grand Rapids.

WOOD-TV 8 reports the "Stop the Violence" march will take place after the public meets at Martin Luther King Park this Saturday at 3 p.m. The march will go south to the corner of Eastern and Franklin, and will take place rain or shine.

Mothers Against Street Killings say they are fed up with the violence in the city, and this is their way to come together and take a stand.

The march comes after multiple shooting this month that injured three people and killed two, all seemingly unrelated.
