Where you live in Michigan may have an effect on how long you live.  A survey determined which counties had the highest life expectancy and two West Michigan counties made it into the top 10 for Michigan, with one of those two taking the top spot.

For 2020, the county with the highest life expectancy is Ottawa County at 81.8 years, over 3 years longer than the average life expectancy of the United States at 78.6.
