Two Paws Up: Grand Rapids Gets Its First Dogs-Only Restaurant
I LOVE finding new places to eat at with my wife Lindsey. When possible we bring our dogs, Benny and Paddy along with us.
A new restaurant is opening soon in West Michigan and its menu caters to your four-legged friends.
West Michigan Is Getting Its First Ever Restaurant For Dogs
The Beastro is West Michigan's first restaurant for dogs.
Jessica Ann Tyson who owns The Beastro also owns The Candied Yam located next door.
Why did Jessica open up West Michigan's First Dogs-Only Restaurant?
Jessica said The Beastro was inspired by her former dog Skip.
"He loved food, You hear a wrapper, and he'd come running. He loved, loved, loved human food."
What Does The Beastro Menu Look Like?
Jessica explained to WZZM 13 what's on the Beastro menu.
"We'll start with a base of a brown rice, and then you'll add your meat and your fresh veggies and fresh fruit," explains Tyson. "So the things that, you know, that your dog loves, but also things that we know that dogs can have."
Each Meal At The Beastro Helps Out Paws With A Cause
Twenty-five cents from every bowl will be donated to West Michigan non-profit, Paws with a Cause.
