Theater To Show Movies For Families With Special Needs

Celebration! Cinema is stepping up for families who have children with special needs.

WOOD TV-8 reports beginning April 4 the theater chain will be showing movies with lower volume, open captioning, limited previews, and auditorium lights on but dimmed for families with special needs, including autism.

Celebration! Cinema is working with Family Hope Foundation in order to make Sensory Showtimes a reality.

Showtimes will be at 10:30 a.m. on Saturdays at Celebration! Cinema North, Crossroads in Portage and Carousel in Muskegon.
