3 Unique Ways To Celebrate Your Toddler’s Birthday in Grand Rapids
You made it through the infant trenches, and now your little one is finally a fun-loving, rambunctious and hilarious toddler. While you want to make sure to celebrate their birthday in a way that's fun for them and for everyone else. Because let's be honest- a lot of the "birthday party" options may not be age appropriate for your little one.
(As much as I think my son will love laser tag or trampoline parks in the future, he's probably a little too young to hang with the bigger kids)

That's why I started to dig into more toddler friendly activities we could do around Grand Rapids to celebrate his big day, and good news- most of these are fun any day of the year!
Take them to Build-A-Bear Workshop
One of the coolest promotions that many people may not know about is that Build-A-Bear Workshop stores will give your child a bear at the cost of their age on their Birthday. (Example: If they're turning two, that bear is going to be $2)
Play and Tumble at Kidz Indoor Playground
While the trampoline parks, playgrounds and family fun centers are really fun when you're little one is older, but this space is perfect for your little one to rip and run and have fun. They also do really fun theme parties, so they can take the stress out of celebrating your little one's day.
Let them explore the Grand Rapids Children's Museum
While there may be a few things that will be too big for your toddler, the GRCM does a fantastic job of making exhibits that fit and cater to all ages. My son had a blast, and bonus points if you go between now and the end of the year, they have an incredible Eric Carle exhibit.
So don't let age keep your toddler from having a fantastic birthday in Grand Rapids!
