Wendy’s Top 10 Songs Of 2013 – No. 10: Bastille’s ‘Pompeii’ [Video]

I always like to do a bit of a “year in review” towards the end of every year.

This year, I thought that, in addition to that, I would give a countdown of my favorite songs from 2013.

It's inevitable that, as the year goes on, I end up with a "new favorite song" about once every six weeks.

That doesn't mean I stopped loving the song that I named my favorite previously. It just gets added to my list of favorite songs of the year.

Coming in at No. 10 is a song that came out early in the year, but which I only discovered a few months ago - "Pompeii" by Bastille.Honestly, I think the thing that automatically made me love this song was the kind of chanting that's going on in the background.

The song is super catchy, though, and I couldn't leave it off of this year's list.
