Winter Weather Advisory Goes Into Effect At 7 AM
It's time for another winter storm in West Michigan. This time the bad weather should only last for today though, the rest of the week should be above freezing and we should even see some sun on Friday.
But in the meantime, we have Winter Storm Petra on the horizon. This storm will bring snow to start, with about an inch of accumulation in the morning, and then a wintry mix and freezing rain in the afternoon and evening. Expect hazardous road conditions with ice accumulations of about a tenth of an inch. The storm might also cause isolated power outages from the freezing rain.
The Winter Weather Advisory goes into effect at 7 AM this morning and will last until 10 PM this evening.
