Would You Buy This House You Can’t See The Inside Of In Ada?
We all know the housing market is pretty awful. Earlier this year, there was a point where the average house stayed on the market for only 4 days before being sold. So, if you're hunting: you're not alone.
And while a lot of people are willing to take some risks to make sure they get the home they want such as paying extra or waiving an inspection (both are bad ideas, FYI) Would you be willing to buy a house you're not allowed to see the inside of?
That's exactly what's happening with this home in Ada.
It's located at 1300 Sargent Ave SE, and sits on 10 acres that come along with the 3 bedroom, 2 bath home. The home itself is 1,914 Square Feet, and seems like a great getaway. The owner is asking $625,000, but they have one clause: you can't tour the home "due to privacy".
And if you think you can just take a peek inside using the listing on zillow, you'd be wrong. There are no internal pictures listed there either.
So... would you buy a home you can't see the inside of?
I'll make a few assumptions based on the photos we can see...
The outside of the home needs a little paint. The dated brown exterior has clearly seen some weathering over the years, but that isn't too big of a deal breaker.
However, if you look closely to the deck... you'll see some serious water damage.
So based on the outside, this home may be a project more than "ready to move in".
And since we don't get a view of the inside of the home, I went ahead and made what I think it looks like based on absolutely nothing, because why not:
If you're willing to take the risk, or just want the ten acres to build something before for you, you can find the listing here.
