Yuno Miles No Shows Grand Rapids, Cancels Rest of US Tour
This week had the potential to be one of the biggest weeks of Michigan rapper Yuno Miles' career, but he instead left fans throughout the state (and US) disappointed.
On Wednesday night, Yuno Miles kicked off his tour in Iowa after only playing his first-ever show at The Crofoot in February. Fans were excited, everyone sang along, and it seemed like the promising start to a fantastic first tour for the 'Honey Bun' rapper even though he showed up 3-hours late on stage.
Thursday night he was supposed to be continuing to Chicago, only to cancel the concert at the last minute. Fans were upset, but quickly forgave him when the same evening Chicago Rapper Kanye West featured Yuno Miles during his Vultures 2 album listening event that same night, leading fans to speculate that he may have been there and had to cancel the show.
After a huge viral moment the night before, Grand Rapids seemed like the dream show to catch the up-and-coming internet star, but 3 hours after doors and around 20 minutes before he should have been taking the stage, the show was canceled after only a handful of openers, and the crowd was sent home. How do I know that? I was one of those disappointed fans. My husband and I love his tiktoks, and actually changed our plans around to be able to see him perform in Grand Rapids.

In a now-deleted Instagram story, Miles said he was sorry for missing the Grand Rapids show, and that his manager was to blame. (This was after he deleted every tweet and reference to the show from the past few days.)
Today, (Sunday, August 25th) the rapper posted across socials that he was canceling the rest of the tour, including his upcoming show in Detroit, just days after the entire tour started.
I'm not sure if the drama between him and his manager is to blame, but it's a bummer to see what should be the biggest week of Miles' career become one of the most disastrous. No matter what's going on, I know I'm not the only fan who hopes he figures it out and finally hits the road one day because I still can't wait to see him live.
Speaking of people who didn't show up in West Michigan...
