Another major name is joining the lineup for the inaugural season at Acrisure Amphitheater, and it’s one that’s sure to have fans already planning their summer playlists.

Australian alt-rock band 5 Seconds of Summer has announced that their EVERYONE’S A STAR! world tour will be stopping in Grand Rapids on July 29, 2026, bringing their high-energy blend of pop, punk, and rock to downtown’s newest outdoor venue.

The band is known for hits like “She Looks So Perfect” and “Youngblood”, and will launch the tour in March across Europe before heading to the U.S. in May, with dates running through August.

It’s been fun to watch the Acrisure Amphitheater lineup come together this fall, even before we’ve had a chance to step inside. Each new announcement makes the wait for opening day that much more exciting. Especially knowing how many different acts West Michigan fans will get the chance to see right in their own backyard thanks to this world class venue.

Alongside today’s tour news, 5 Seconds of Summer also dropped their latest single, “Telephone Busy,” from their upcoming album EVERYONE’S A STAR! due out November 14. It follows their playful fan tribute track “Boyband,” which nods to the label they’ve worn proudly throughout their career.

With each new show added, it’s clear: next summer’s going to be a big one for live music in Grand Rapids, and it’s only just beginning.
