A Ring Worth $68 Million… But Why?

Well, I guess this makes the engagement ring you saved your cash for look like complete trash, lol. A jewelry company in Switzerland, named Shawish, has made the world's first ever all-diamond ring.  Let me clear that up in case you missed it... that means it's not just a diamond on a gold or platinum band. The entire ring, band and all, is diamond as well.

So, you could imagine this would have a big price... and it does. The ring which  is 150 carats is said to be valued at a whopping $68 MILLION.  They actually cut the ring out of a larger diamond, which makes it harder to size. In a world with such a bad economy, I could think of a few better things to spend $68 Million on. Also, when ever you buy a ring its always a risk, what if they say no? Ouch!
