Police are still searching for a 2-year-old boy who was dragged into the water by an alligator last night.

According to NBC News, the incident occurred Tuesday around 9:15 p.m. on the beach near Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. The boy was on vacation with his parents from Nebraska.

Police reports indicate that the toddler was about a foot into the water when the alligator grabbed him. The boy's father immediately ran into the water to try and get his son but was not able to. 50 law enforcement officials were sent out to the beach to search for the boy and have been since last night. The Orlando Sentinel says police will be using sonar to search for the boy, along with a 10-person dive team and a helicopter.

So far, rescue teams have found and euthanized 4 alligators but they have not found the 2-year-old's body. None of the alligators showed signs of being in an attack. The Orange County Sheriff says they're not leaving until they find the child.
