Severe Winter Weather Causes Heart Stopping Crash On Michigan Highway

A dangerous morning on I-94 took a dramatic turn when a 24-foot box truck lost control and crashed into multiple emergency vehicles.

The scary incident happened around 8:30 a.m. on Thursday as first responders were already dealing with a rollover crash.

The box truck jackknifed, colliding with three fire trucks and a sheriff's cruiser.

Miraculously, no first responders were injured, though the truck driver was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

Kalamazoo County Sheriff Rick Fuller urged residents to stay off the roads if possible, emphasizing the importance of safety for both drivers and emergency personnel.

Dashcam video captured the intense moment.

We start out seeing a white vehicle flipped over onto it's roof and firefighters along with first responders on the scene.

Some the firefighters start making their way back to the truck just moments before a box truck loses control and smashes into it.

In just a few seconds the box truck hits the fire truck and flips over onto it's side.

You can see the firefighters and first responders running for their lives.

About five to ten seconds later you can see the firefighters getting up and actually heading towards the box truck that just crashed into them to check on the driver.
