Bubbles, TV, and Early Halloween - Steve's Daddy Tips (9-11-19)

Hi, I’m Steve and I’m a new Dad who has learned a lot of things over the last several months and I want to pass along some knowledge to you!

Each week I will be giving you some new tips for first-time parents and one spectacular Dad joke! So let's get to the tips!

Today’s first Daddy Tip is bubbles! Yup, that’s right Charlotte, bubbles! We’re going over the do’s and don'ts! First, let’s go over the don’ts. Don’t use let your little one hold the bubble juice, it’ll end up being dumped out and your little one will be very unhappy, Charlotte I’m looking at you. Or they’ll drink the bubble juice, which is not good. Ok, now let’s do the do’s! Do take a video of them blowing bubbles because that’s adorable and do
The next Daddy Tip is to start to indoctrinate your child with TV shows that you enjoy. Sure, everyone loves Sesame Street or Daniel Tiger, but even those can get old fast. So, now that your toddler is able to better comprehend TV shows, now is the perfect time to get them into your favorite shows. Did you love The Simpsons or Rugrats or Pokémon? Now is the time to get them hooked while they don’t have a choice in what they watch!
And the final Daddy Tip of the week is to get out those Halloween decorations and start getting spooky early this year! Halloween is one of the best holidays for kids so you might as well start getting in the spirit as soon as possible. Oh man, spirit, Halloween, there’s gotta be a dad joke in there somewhere!
