Meet Connie and Fish’s New Intern, Kalie!

Hello, Connie and Fish Morning Show listeners!

My name is Kalie, and I'm the new intern! I'm originally from Sterling Heights, which is about a half hour north of Detroit and I'm in my third year at Grand Valley State University, with a major in Public Relations and minors in Writing and Hospitality and Tourism Management.

I'm a member of the GVSU Laker Marching Band and am in charge of planning concerts through GVSU's student programming board. To say that music is my biggest passion would be the understatement of the century- I've been going to concerts as long as I can remember, almost always have something playing in the background, and hope to work in the music industry when I graduate from GVSU. I never even considered what working in radio would be like, so this is an opportunity that I never expected to come my way. I have no doubt that Connie and Fish will make this semester an interesting one, and I'm so excited to see where this experience will take me!
