Watch Jared Goff’s Awkwardly Funny Viral Podcast Appearance

It’s almost game time for the Detroit Lions, but before quarterback Jared Goff takes the field against the Green Bay Packers this Sunday, he found himself in an entirely different spotlight: the comedy hot seat.

This week, Goff joined Sundae Conversation, the offbeat interview series hosted by Caleb Pressley and his sidekick, Glenny Balls.

If you’re unfamiliar with the weekly Sunday YouTube podcast, it’s full of very strange, sarcastic questions, and plenty of awkward pauses. Along with the chaos, the steady stream of humor that somehow manages to squeeze out surprisingly honest answers.

Glenny Balls always dresses up in a costume themed to the guest, and for this week for Jared Goff he went all-in as the Cowardly Lion, which of course set the tone for a segment packed with ridiculousness.

At one point, Goff was cornered into answering about something he’d actually be willing to give up in exchange for a Lions Super Bowl win. (Spoiler: It’s not allowed to be shown on TV, and my bosses would probably be mad if I referenced past this, so watch the clip)

And in true Sundae Conversation style, Pressley also lobbed a sarcastic question about whether Coach Dan Campbell is on steroids.
