Dozens Of West Michigan Schools Participating In Nationwide School Walkout
One month after the school shooting that took 17 lives in Parkland, Florida, students across the nation are walking out to promote their rights and safety in schools. The walkout was organized by Women's March and over 3,000 schools have registered.
The walkout will take place at 10am this morning and will last for 17 minutes. Many schools are also doing other variations on this theme as well, with 17 minutes of silence, 17 acts of kindness, etc.
