Drunk Michigan Woman Mistakes Jail Parking Lot For The Bar’s Parking Lot

Headlines don't get any better than that! This happened in Paw Paw, south of Grand Rapids and West of Kalamazoo.

WOOD TV reports the woman confused the Van Buren County Jail's parking lot with the parking lot of her favorite bar.

It happened early Sunday morning, around 2 a.m., when deputies saw a car backing up in the jail parking lot, where Sheriff's office cruisers are parked.

When deputies approached the car they found that it reeked heavily of alcohol, they later found out the driver's blood-alcohol content was twice the legal limit.

She made it easy for deputies, they walked her across the parking lot and booked her into the jail without incident.
