We are truly living in nostalgic days. Almost EVERYTHING is getting a reboot. For example, Fuller House; Girl Meets World; Ghostbusters; X-Files; and CW just announced that they will be turning the movie The Notebook into a series along with Friday the 13th.

Well the newest reboot has been announced and that is The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. In my opinion, this is one of the best shows I used to watch growing up. TVLine is reporting that the show will be brought back and Will Smith will be the executive producer. His production company, Overbrook Entertainment, is reportedly in the early stages of developing the show which will then be pitched to different networks.

According to TVLine the reboot:

Puts a new spin on the fish-out-of-water tale while maintaining the spirit of the original series.

The original Fresh Prince ran for six seasons. I'm all for this but at the same time a lot of these shows that are being remade were classics so I go in with high expectations. However, with Will Smith at the helm I anticipate he will do his best to keep the essence of what made that show so popular.
