Gerald R. Ford Presidential Museum Closed Until 2016
Wanting to stop by the Ford Museum? You will have to wait until 2016.
The museum is undergoing construction, which will close it off to the public until the summer of 2016, according to WOOD-TV 8.
Crews are installing new interactive exhibits and renovating the building. You can see the construction from the live webcam here.
The public is invited to stop by a ceremony at 4:15 p.m. Monday to celebrate the final beam being placed for the new DeVos Learning Center.
The new learning center is a $15 million project which will allow full classrooms into the museum to learn about civics, history and more.
