"Neither rain, nor snow, nor sleet, nor hail shall keep the postmen from their appointed rounds..." Especially in West Michigan, where package thieves will be chased down.

A post to Reddit on Thursday gives some major props to a postman in Grand Rapids for chasing down 3 teens who tried to take a package. To be fair, I'm not 100% sure this happened in Grand Rapids because the post looks like it originated from Rockford, though the letter featured in the post originated from the Grand River Carrier Annex in Grand Rapids.

Either way, this is great. It was posted by user "thegreatbevo," and says the following:

Your letter carrier delivered your package at 11:28 a.m. on December 30. As he was finishing his loop he noticed 3 teens pick up your package and start walking down the street. He jumped into his vehicle and chased them down yelling at them. They threw your package down and took off running. Your carrier retrieved your package and brought it back to the post office. It is being re delivered to you today damaged. Sorry for the trouble this may have caused you. If you have any questions call me.

Thanks

There you go, never mess with your local postal worker.
