GRPD May Be On To Something…

Another week, another Grand Rapids police officer taking time to make young friends.  I really love this, first officer Ickes, then Sgt. Nobles, now Sgt. Geraghty and K9 officer Izzy take time to make a new friend!

There’s obviously not a lot on the story here.  The obvious is he was on patrol with Izzy, when they ran into a young dog lover and possible future Grand Rapids PD K9 handler! My favorite part is in the comment section, where Sgt. Geraghty’s daughter thanks him for being such a great role model!  That gave me the feels!!

I’ve only been here a minute, but stuff like this is definitely a part of the vibe that everyone seems to have here and I really love of Grand Rapids for that.
