Here’s What Listeners Are Doing To Stay Positive – #TQOTD
We got a bunch of awesome suggestions from listeners today on how they are staying positive during the pandemic. Maybe you can take one of their suggestions and run with it. (Note: we do not endorse the use of drugs or alcohol like some of our listeners have haha)
TEXT QUESTION OF THE DAY:
What are you doing to keep yourself in a positive state???
- Block negative people on my Facebook page!
- Doing home improvements
- Driving my mini to work and taking different routes to keep my mind from slipping into a ground hogs day situation.
- Finding new trails to take the family on walks. Our favorite is Provin Park by Robinette's Orchard.
- Getting in at least 12k steps a day. Been awesome walking weather!
- Just keep swimming. No really, I am still working but I think of seeing my whole family in one place. Thank my lucky stars that we are all still healthy.
- Trying a new hobby (wood burning) and dedicating a certain time frame to worry (about 15-30 minutes a day to worry and stress, times up, walk away and forget until the next day).
- I’m just over here coloring lol #adulting#colorthroughcovid #imreally35 #mykidsdontcolorwithme
- Jogging, walking, biking, board games, cards, TV shows, cleaning the house. #8Weeks
- Well sitting on the phone trying to find out where my packages have gone because there not at my door! It’s annoying
- As soon as I get myself home from the office M-F. I need a vacation
- Excersize, yoga, weightlifting, video chats, and playing with the dog.
- Laughing with Bill and taking drives to nowhere.
- I’ve been paying it forward with wine baskets to Random people.
- Spending time with my granddaughter... she keeps me on my toes daily!! Lol she's 3
- Decluttering and organizing. :)
- Spending time enjoying the outdoors
- Taking walks and taking theme pictures daily. Today was all things yellow. Tomorrow pets walking in the park.
- Work out videos from the ‘80’s
- Taking walks out on nature trails as much as possible and "spring" cleaning and purging all my crap I can live without
- Crocheting
- Went out and wined/boozed some ladies, so fun
- Taking drives and taking walks
- Drinking
- Pretending I'm retired
- Getting a kitten!
- Drugs and alcohol
- Drive everyone else nuts! Teeee

- Guys my happy state is soaking in the bathtub twice a day working at home. Am coffee and soak, normal work, yardwork, more normal work till 7pm , and another soak with a beverage love it !!!!
- Podcasts and Jigsaw Puzzles. That combo is guaranteed to make me forget about stress and lose track of time
- To stay positive my wife and I have finally been enjoying time on our big boat.
- TQOTD: sitting in the sunshine!
- TQOTD. I've been exploring other sections of trails near home. This allows exercise, fresh air, and social distancing.
- I'm not watching the news. It's depressing. That keeps me positive.
- I find taking dabs (steve can explain) between conference calls keeps a smile on my face:) I reccomend it before your next call with management lol. Just make sure you record it!!
- I haven't taken a shower in two months. This has been amazing!
