Hot ’n Now Announces Official Opening Date in Wayland
If you grew up in Michigan, chances are you remember pulling through a Hot ’n Now drive-thru for cheap burgers, Cheesy Taters, and maybe even their famous Olive Burger.
For years, the chain was a staple of fast food life here until one by one, the restaurants closed their doors.
But now, Hot ’n Now is making its big return, and the very first location of the comeback happening right here in West Michigan is days away from opening it’s doors.
The new Wayland restaurant has been months in the making.
It was actually built in a warehouse in Alpena, then taken apart and reassembled at its permanent home across from Gun Lake Casino in back August. In just one day, the building was installed: kitchen, plumbing, electrical and all.
When the doors open, the menu will feature all the classics fans have been waiting for, including the Olive Burger and Cheesy Taters. If you've only heard the lore (like me) they say it's going to be wallet-friendly, making it a perfect thing to try the next time you're in the area.
So when will we finally get our first bite of Michigan fast food nostalgia? Mark your calendars: the Wayland Hot ’n Now officially opens Monday, October 13th.
Once open, the restaurant will serve customers Sundays through Thursdays from 10:30 am to 10 pm, and stay open late until 1 am on Fridays and Saturdays.
And this isn’t the end of the story. Plans are already in motion for another location in Alpena, which is expected to open in 2026. Enjoy Michigan, Hot N Ready is on the way back.
