After being stuck in your home for what seems like a decade we want to know what you need changed about where you live.

TEXT QUESTION OF THE DAY:
If you could change one thing about where you live, what would it be?

  • First floor laundry, and the house would be on lots of land, next to a lake with a nice deck and pool. I swear that was all said in one breath so it counts as 1 thing
  • My neighbor’s dog. It’s not a good situation. It makes my anxiety rise. I’m also OVER owning a fixer upper as a single female. 12 years and I’m SO ready to go back to apartment living where I don’t have to do everything or beg handymen
  • I live in a mobile home park and if I could change one thing...well actually two..first one would be that they fix my patio and the second would be that my steps be put on concrete. Every time it rains real bad my steps sink when you use them! Pay lot rent for half butt results!
  • I would put our house in the country. We live in a pretty small country town but it's still town with neighbors closer than I prefer. I grew up on a farm surrounded by corn and I miss it.
  • Add a secluded hot tub, redo the back patio and build a pole barn.
  • My attic is a blank canvas and needs to be built into my Woman Space. I have so many ideas!! Already has a floor, heat vents, windows, and one light. Stairs are nice too. It has just never been finished! Momma needs her space!!
  • Location. I love the house but would prefer to live in the UP permanently
  • That we had a fully fenced in yard( privacy fence).
  • Main floor laundry and more electrical outlets.
  • Moving, and I am doing so this month because my lease is up and because I found out my ex moved into my apartment complex with his new gf!
  • A house at the beach on Lake Michigan - far enough back so I still have a beach
  • I love where I live but the one thing I would change is, our land is more of a sandy dirt and it's really hard to grow plants in it and I love plants and flowers. So I would change our land to black dirt instead of sandy dirt
  • Main floor laundry .I hate my basement/stairs they angle before you go down..
  • We have lime green siding, white with gold flecked counters and a pink tub, toilet and sink. I'd wish for updates
  • The neighbors! They are jackhats!
  • Bigger, better kitchen. We rarely eat out so I want a kitchen that fits my husband and I when we cook together + a pantry so I'm not running downstairs to the laundry room for things I need.
  • It would be in my own home. Hopefully that can happen in a few years!
  • An attached garage or just a garage!
  • I’d live in a house not an apartment l. The landlord is a POS here!
  • I would love a rubber room! Just go in there & bounce off the walls! Stressful day, beat the crap out of the walls!
  • I'd be in a two story house, not a trailer. Im over the limited space we have
  • My house is sinking. I would level it and fix all the dang cracks.
  • I wouldn’t have neighbors!!
  • Our entrance- we need a mud room!
  • Closer to my daughter. She is in Madison, WI. I'm outside of Atlanta.
  • Need a place for kiddos to play (apartment complex)
  • I made add an extra couple of rooms and a master bathroom. I have to share with boys right now!!
  • Sound-proof walls, especially the bathroom!!!
  • A garage!!!!! That's all I can say!
  • Paved driveway so my son could skate, bike, scooter and skateboard and get a basketball hoop
  • I would have a ranch style instead of a bi-level
  • Hate well water...wish we had city water.
  • I would live on my own all inclusive island.
  • The kitchen. We were gonna remodel this summer but the virus makes this impossible.
  • No more winters in Michigan!
  • The State, Illinois sucks!
  • I hate living in town....I want to be out in the country
  • I would add a sun room onto my house! Some day!!
  • I need more space and a bigger kitchen
  • More property, a pool, and a hot tub!
  • The location!!!
  • There would be no cold weather lol
  • Kitchen update
  • Larger updated kitchen!!!
  • Lots of land added
  • Everything
  • Pool
  • Get rid of my husband’s ugly and uncomfortable chair! It’s like an “Archie Bunker chair”!
  • To live in a house not an apartment
  • Good internet
  • the only thing I would change about where I live is my upstairs neighbors. they used to be so friendly and now they avoid me at all costs. I live alone, rarely have people over. so I don’t know what the issue is. I guess they just don’t like it when I say hi to them when passing PS I love listening to the podcast daily. I’m always looking forward to it.
  • Bigger kitchen and closer to my kids. Right now I live close to work.
  • The house. We love the location, but the house is a lemon. Found black mold under the flooring last year, found out yesterday we have to replace the roof and will cost about $13,000 And there's no basement
  • She shed
  • The one thing I would change about where I live is to have an out building/workshop area! I’m trying to work out of my house right now with a busy sign business and saving as much $$$ as I can to buy a new house with a workshop area.
  • Less swamp. My house is surrounded by swamps and it breeds so many mosquitoes and i just need that to STOP. i dont need to die everytime i want a campfire in the backyard!
  • TQOTD. I would move us further off the main road to cut the noise pollution.
  • I would get rid of my husband. All he has been doing during this time is sitting on his rapidly growing ass binging netflix. I know we don’t have kids and we rent but come on man do something!
