There's a new spot to grab drinks in Grand Rapids!

Drip Drop Cocktail Rooms Opens in Grand Rapids
Well, Drip Drop Cocktail Room is now open!
The new cocktail room serving "artisan style cocktails in a comfortable, moody ambiance" is located at 443 Bridge Street NW, the former home of The Sovengard.
Drip Drop Cocktail Room is open Tuesday through Thursday 4p.m. to midnight, Friday 4p.m. to 2a.m., and Saturday noon to 2a.m.
The new bar joins the booming food and drink scene on Bridge Street, sharing the neighborhood with Butcher's Union, O'Toole's Public House, Morning Belle, Jolly Pumpkin, and coming soon - The General Woodshop, and Broad Leaf Brewery + Spirits Westside.
Owners of Drip Drop Cocktail Room are 25-year-old Nick Adams and his dad Jeff Adams. Wood TV 8 reports it's Nick's first business venture, but his dad, Jeff, has been in the game for decades; owning the Stagecoach Inn in Marshall, the Griffin Grill in Battle Creek, and later the Cricket Club in Battle Creek. He's unretired to open Drip Drop Cocktail Room in Grand Rapids with his son.
Back in August, they shared a renovation update on the progress they were making in the new space.
Nick tells Wood TV 8 the cocktail lounge has "a nice date night ambiance. We’ll have candles on the tables, lots of vibrant colors…. It’ll be a unique ambiance to Bridge Street."
Drinks at Drip Drop Cocktails
Drip Drop will serve 20 to 25 hand-crafted cocktails made with fresh ingredients and house-made syrups that will rotate throughout the year.
Nick tells Wood TV 8 the new lounge will push the boundaries in terms of creative cocktails, but also offer classic drinks:
We’ll be playing with some smoke and some fire here and there and some dry ice here and there as well so it’ll be kind of a one-of-a-kind cocktail experience. But… if you want to come in and get a nice glass of whiskey, we’ll we will have that to offer as well.
