KZoo Co Man Makes It Easy For Police To Find Stolen Snowmobile
I don’t think I could commit a really big crime, because I don’t think I’m crafty enough to get away with it. I’d do something to give myself away, like paying with a credit card or dropping candy wrappers or something. With all that said, I’d like to think I’d be a better thief than this guy in Comstock Park was yesterday.
State police were called to a snowmobile theft, and when they got there, they didn’t have to get out the k-9s or anything because they were able to follow the snowmobile’s track around 3 miles to the thief’s house, according to WOODTV.
Yeah, the guy didn’t even throw it on a trailer; he just drove it home and parked it in the backyard. That’s where MSP found it once they got a warrant. They also found a bunch of guns and ammo which isn’t good, since the suspect is also a felon.
WOODTV says police charged the suspect with snowmobile theft, possession of stolen property, as well as a felon in possession of a firearm, ammo and a short barrel shotgun.
He should have trailered the snowmobile.
