Police told WOOD-TV that a 22-year-old man was stabbed in the chest around 4:45 pm on Friday afternoon at Rosa Park Circle.

According to WOOD-TV, police aren't sure what led to the attack, but the man stabbed was taken to St. Mary's Hospital with life-threatening injuries. Police told the tv station that the victim is being somewhat cooperative, but his injuries have kept him from talking to them about what happened.

WOOD-TV says that after the attack the suspect, who is said to be in his 30's but didn't have much a description of what he was wearing or looked like. Poice did say he took off running south towards Heartside Park.
