Muskegon Heights Launches New App to Bring City Hall to Your Fingertips
Running errands just got a whole lot easier for Muskegon Heights residents, thanks to a new app that puts City Hall right in the palm of your hand. Whether you need to pay your water bill or report a problem, this app eliminates the hassle of making a trip to City Hall.
The app, developed by a company that Police Chief Maurice Sain discovered at a police convention, cost the city just $7,000 to build.

It provides access to all city departments and services, including Police and Fire, making it a one-stop shop for residents. From submitting forms to paying municipal bills like taxes or utilities, you can handle everything from the comfort of your home. I downloaded it myself, and it's super easy to navigate:
But convenience isn’t the only benefit- The app can also inform residents by sending out important notifications, like weather alerts. You no longer have to scour the internet or social media for answers- you can get them directly from the city. Chief Sain believes this new tool will make life easier for the community, though he still hopes to see residents stop by City Hall occasionally.
The best part? The app is free and available now for download on Google Play and the Apple App Store. So, skip the trip and take care of your city business from anywhere. Muskegon Heights is making it easier than ever to stay connected to the services you need. (Can we get this for every city in West Michigan next?)
