Ah, 2009. The time where emo kids who blasted Panic At The Disco had a bitter rivalry with kids who died their hair cheetah print and would have IM screen names like "OMGLYKWOAH it's scene three ilu xbijillion." It was a wild time to be a teen. I wouldn't know because I spent my teen years wearing bondage pants and listening to Marilyn Manson and Slipknot (another fun phase), but never-the-less, the days when social media started influencing and shaping personalities began with Myspace.

There's bound to be plenty of "Rawr x3 *nuzzles*" after the Myspace Emo Prom with Taking Back Emo that's happening at The Magic Bag in Ferndale, MI on Friday, May 31. The doors open at 8 p.m. and tickets are $8 in advance.
