We had a very passive aggressive fight going on in our office today that involved leaving notes near the coffee machine.  So, try to follow along because instead of using names, we will be using "Person A-D"...

Person A filled up the coffee pot this morning, but Person B saw that they were using their personal mug to put the water in the coffee pot.  Person B went to his computer and printed out a note that more or less said: "don't do that, we know who you are, and that's gross."

Well, Person C came along and saw the note and got mad about the passive-aggressive nature of it, so he added two bullet points to the note that said "This type of passive aggressive note is BS and whoever wrote it should seek therapy" and "you need to go talk to the person directly and just be a man."  Well, that just sparked off a whole new thing and now Person B was mad at Person C for adding the bullet points to the note intended for Person A.  (Confused yet?)

Person B had some donuts that had been on the floor and they knew that Person C loves free food, so they left them in the break room.  Person B luckily didn't fall for the trap, probably because of all of the hair on them.  And finally, Person D came along, who just happened to be our boss, and thought we were all childish idiots and threw out the note and the donuts.  Problem solved...

So the question is, was this passive aggressive note BS?  And does stuff like this happen in your office?
