Who Has The Fastest Local Breakfast in Grand Rapids?

Grand Rapids has a huge selection of places to grab a cup of coffee, a sandwich or plate to start your morning. From fast food drive-thrus to beloved diners, you have so many choices to start your day.

But, who do you go to when you want a high-quality breakfast that won't take an hour? You'd be surprised by some of the great options you have that won't require you to hit up a fast food breakfast in a box restaurant.

Here are some of my favorite fast breakfast options in Grand Rapids:

Terra Bagel

Whether you order ahead or walk up to the counter, you rarely wait more than a few minutes for your meal at Terra Bagel. On top of Bagels being an easy handheld in thecar food, Terra is a easy quick breakfast choice if you're in downtown Grand Rapids.

Basalt

While you can easily spend an hour or two savoring the drinks and flavors of one of Easttown's most savory breakfast spots- Basalt offers some incredible order ahead options that allow you to grab high-quality breakfast tacos without the wait. (Note from Author: this is hands down my favorite breakfast spot in town, Steve and this team get it.)

Nantucket Baking Company

If a pastry is more of your speed, Nantucket Baking Company is the perfect speedy, tasty and friendly option to start your morning. Their pastries are made in house, so you can feel good knowing your supporting local bakers as you speed to work.

Cindy's Donuts and Ice Cream

While you may think of Cindy's for their incredibly tasty donuts, they also have one of the most iconic breakfast sandwiches in West Michigan. It comes on a huge fresh-made croissant, so go ahead and treat yourself if you're starting your day near Kentwood. (Above: my son loves their donut holes when we're on the go!)

Bagel Beanery

If you're looking for a fast food experience while still getting something locally crafted, the Bagel Beanery is the perfect intersection of easy and well-made for you. Grab a cup of coffee and a classic Bacon Egg and Cheese without leaving your vehicle.

Wealthy / Hall Street Bakery

Another fantastic locally owned bakery with incredible coffee and pastry options and even better vibes. With two locations not far from Downtown, they make for a perfect fast breakfast for several neighborhoods in Grand Rapids.
