Kent County Police are asking for help identifying a suspect in an armed robbery at a Rockford-area store.

Fox 17 reports the incident occurred Friday around 9:55 p.m. at Bailey’s General Store on 6051 Belding Road N.E. in Cannon Charter Township.

According to police, a man armed with a knife demanded money from the clerk. After getting the cash, he took off in a red four-door Dodge Ram pickup.

The suspect is described as a possibly Asian or Hispanic male, approximately 5' 5", with a larger build. At the time of the robbery, he was wearing glasses, a gray hooded sweatshirt, jean shorts, and black and white tennis shoes with yellow laces in the left shoe and black laces in the right shoe.
