The past couple of winters have been gangbusters for snow days to the point that some schools had to add days to the end of the school year, which upset many parents and kids who have their summer planned out schools are looking into "eDays."

A school in Jefferson County, Ala have already put eDays into place. These days allow "learning to continue without utilizing makeup days, and provides an option for learning when we have extreme weather, flu epidemics, or other unforeseen events," according to a school newsletter.

Though this seems like a good alternative, parents from Jefferson county are not happy about it. They say the requirement puts a burden on them to stay home with their children those days to make sure their work is completed.
