Verizon Customers Will Get Free Disney+ for a Year
Disney's new streaming service, Disney+, launches November 12th. If you're a Disney fan and you happen to be a Verizon Wireless customer, congratulations, you get it for free.
No catch, either.
Verizon announced the news about the partnership called 'Disney+ On Us.' All new and existing customers with 4G LTE and 5G unlimited data will get the new service paid for by Verizon for a year. Home Internet customers will also get the promotion.
Disney+ offers a variety of features that Verizon customers can also take advantage of such as:
- Never-before-seen original content (shows, movies, documentaries, etc.)
- Commercial-free viewing
- Up to 4 devices streaming at once
- 7 different profiles on one account
- Personalized recommendations
On day of launch, customers will just have to activate their subscription.
According to the press release,
...in its first year alone, Disney+ will release more than 25 original series and 10 original films and documentaries...
The new streaming service will cost $6.99/month for everyone else.
A couple weeks ago, Disney+ listed all the movies (past and present) that would be available to stream, spanning over a three-hour Twitter thread.
If you have it in you, you can watch this three-hour video of everything that's going to be on Disney+ in the video below.
