What Did You Beg Your Parents For? – #TQOTD

Everyone had that thing that they absolutely begged for when they were a kid and today is the day that you can finally vent.

TEXT QUESTION OF THE DAY:
What did you beg your parents for?

• A my sized Barbie.. I got it and it scared the stuffing out of me. I thought for sure it was going to kill me and my parents ended up giving it away after I told them “the basement won’t hold her”
• Baton lessons. Never got them because the lady that taught them would never call back to schedule. 😭😭😭
• A horse. From the time I was old enough to know what they were. I got one for my 10th birthday. 😊
• Cabbage Patch doll when they first came out. I was the only child and lived with my mom so I got it.
• Braces, I had to beg for 3 years. So thankful that I did get them!
• Nike tennis shoes. Got them for Christmas and they lasted all of 2 weeks. 😡
• The keys to the car....& what I mean by that is a 1965 Corvair Station Wagon....red with a white top, 3 on the floor. Yeah sexy, but it was wheels!
• A barbie jeep power wheels, i still won't let them live that down that they never got me one lol
• A French horn. It’s been on my Christmas list for 35 years, and counting.
• A baby brother! Two sisters and 6 years later I finally got one and than another one 13 months later!
• The Felicity American Girl Doll...she had red hair like me! I never got it, but I made sure my daughter got one!
• Lite Brite and Big Wheels. Yes we got them.
• Cabbage patch doll and never got one but my lil bro at the time got a teddy ruxbon and boy i was pissed
• Barbie dream house...still wishing lol
• A baby-alive doll.
• Supper Nintendo
• Easy bake oven!
• Nintendo.. got it 2 systems later... everything was 2 fads later lol
• A swimming pool, never got it 😢
• I begged my parents for Roller Skates
• A computer to play early pc games on 😂
• A power wheel
• A horse.
• A goat!
• Cabbage patch doll and care bear
• A pig.
• Now I want a horse! Lol

• DSL internet because dial up was soooo sloooow

• A fish voice to text so please bear with me I hit bag by parents for a computer for 2 years before Christmas Christmas morning I open a Box N it is a brand new computer Box and I open it and it is one of those popcorn tins filled with pennies and a log I never got a computer I was be on test hissed not test my phone is stupid
• TQOTD: I begged my parents for anything Strawberry Shortcake or Rainbow Brite (I was a child of the 80s, lol) cuz allllll my friends had them. Nope. Denied.
• I wanted a dog, SO BADLY, ever since I was a small child. FINALLY, when I was 9, we adopted a beagle mix we named Barney.
• Text Question of the Day: i always begged for more and more legos
• I begged my parents for a Sega Genisis. After told no, i decided to sell all my Nintendo games and system at our garage sale. As a bonus i did so well selling the games that i got to keep the Nintendo with a few games and had enough to buy the Sega
• I asked for a Drum set for EVERY possible gift giving holiday… Probably until I was… well let’s be honest I’m still asking aaaand I’m 50
• TQOTD. I essentially begged for a zoo. I wanted a horse, bunny, cats, and specifically, a black lab and samoyed. I now have three cats and a dog - all rescues.
• I begged my parents to let me BUY a abandoned house so I could start a pet rescue like the humane society. I had a whole plan with a friend of mine. I was MAYBE 10 lol. But I was ready! Didnt happen obviously. Lol
• When I was 14 I wanted thongs. All my girlfriends were wearing them and my mother said I couldn’t. Might as well of worn starwberry shortcake panties or underroos
