What Did You Do Recently To Get Your Pet Mad At You? – #TQOTD

I thought Steve won the day on this question when he said he ties his dogs poop bag to the dog when they go on walks together. Then the beautiful and unique Christine chimed in with her story. She did a no no with her Cat Harley. Poor Harley got locked in the bathroom for like 12 hours. Not a happy kitty. Mine was boring compared to those 2. I just kicked Barrett the Dog off of the couch so I could throw his blanket on.

TEXT QUESTION OF THE DAY:
What did you do recently to get your pet mad at you?

• Took her to the groomer. Shelties hate to get wet or have strangers touch them.
• He's currently not looking at me because I wouldn't give him my nachos.
• Springer spaniel...gave her a bath...she hates water! Mad at me AND the kids cuz they helped lol
• Had to break out the WWE moves to cut ONE nail he was very vocal about how he felt about it too
• I didn’t feed them early enough
• Brought home a new kitten a year ago. She still hisses at him and glares at us.
• Left the house with my son and his friend Dog tried to leave with us but my husband had to hold him inside, to which he then tried biting my husband for holding him back….he’s a grumpy old man(the dog not the husband )
• I made my fur baby mad by moving across the country to be a teacher. She deserved the best so I left her with my parents because the city life isn’t for her
• I had the audacity to ask Olive if she wanted to go on a walk
• We hiked for three days and they had to stay with a pet sitter. The three year-old is still mad and will not push my hand on to her head like normal.
• I didn’t feed them before we ate dinner, you would think they were starving to death
• Nail clipping we would have to knock her out at the vet she hated her paws touched! whole day event
• Made him stay in the house when dad was outside cutting lawn and weed whacking. Dog hates the mower
• Bought it the old cat food after trying Rachael Rays Nutrish cat food.
• Gracie gets mad at me if I go anywhere without her and even more pissed if I take one of the other dogs and not her because she's spoiled and my favorite. Chloe gets mad and won't even look at us or walks away from us if we get near her when we put her flea and tick collar on her in the spring or if a younger, smaller puppy comes over to the house. When that happens she even foams at the mouth lol
• I trimmed her claws- unsuccessfully I should add
• Threw out a toy that the dog kept wedging under the couch and then digging at the couch to get back.
• Long time ago, I told my dog he couldn't go to the video store with me so he ate my shoe.
• Put medicine in his ears...
• Refused to share my tacos. bad enough he stole my peanut butter sammich at lunch.
• Put my cat in a dog kennel for a few minutes while we ate. Otherwise he jumps on the table and knocks everything on the floor.
• Didn’t take her for a car ride!
• Brought him 2 the vet & went to Florida w/o him!
• Went to the bathroom before taking them outside to go potty after i got home from work
• I went out of town for four days. My adult kids were at my place while I was gone but I could tell that my cat was happy/upset that I when I came back. She kinda took it out on me for a couple of days before things went back to normal. I get it because that was the first time I'd ever been gone that long.
• Ran out of his crack treats! 🙄
• Tossed him in the lake! He hates water
• Took him to get a allergy shot
• I didn't give him any treats because he pooped on the cement walkway
• Held his mouth shut for a second to teach him “no bark”. He’s a puppy.
• Had to give her medicine for her liver. She won't take it in food, so I have to shove it down her throat. 29 more days. Hurray
• Placed her stuffed animal on her head
• Let my inside cat outside for a minute because he felt like he needed to go outside and then he got mad that I let him outside
• Brought home a kitten! Dogs were not impressed
• Gave her a bath… she’s pretty ticked!
• I fed him hot dogs instead of cooking him a hot meal.
• Ignored his pouting and crying for a dental bone!
• Not feed him every 5 minutes throughout the day!
• Made her wear a cone after surgery
• Went on vacation and left her with dog/house sitter
• Laughed at him when he yelped at biting his tongue when trying to catch the cheese slice I threw to him
• Trimmed her nails
• Gave him a bath but not a treat after. He stared at me like this for a good twenty minutes.
• Woke her up lol
• I gave my cat dry food because money is tight this month.. oh well. We all have to sacrifice a bit sometimes
• Had my bf take a photo of him sleeping
• Went to work. He always gets mad when I leave for work
• Gave her a bath, don’t worry she got revenge and was sprayed by a skunk 2 hours later
• We made our dogs mad by moving and then leaving them in a strange house. *dogs sadly looking out window* "Where are you going without us?!?!" I know they'll love it eventually. 😉
• Come home late, she had one of my sandals, getting ready to destroy it.
• I emptied my grandson's little collapsible pool on the deck. Part of the yard was flooded. It looked like the water absorbed into the ground so I let my two babies outside. They are English setters so they have a lot of energy. They ran around our fenced in backyard having fun but they found a mud puddle somewhere and we’re mud up to their chests. One even covered her face in mud. So they got baths on the deck with water from the hose. It was cold and I tried to spray them softly but they weren’t happy at all. They fought the bath at first but then resigned themselves that it was happening. They were both happy with the toweling off. The love it.
• I brought 2 kittens into the home. She's 12!
• I made them leave the dog park after another dog ran into me knocking me down. I have bruises and a sprained knee from it.
• Ended his walk before he was ready so he was pouting in the front yard lol
• When I claim my space in bed every night…it leads to a walk of shame to the foot of the bed…EVERY night
• I wouldn't share beans with her ....so she stole a towel
• Tried to pet him after I fed him. I'm so mean
• I was gone overnight. He had three other people at home. But he was mad.
• Existed!! She attacked me when I ran back into my apartment from my deck where I was being swarmed by hornets that I didn’t even know made a nest. I was stung 5x and she attacked my leg and gave me some deep nasty scratches!
• I didn't do it, my 14-year-old son did. Our cat was stalking a bug that had gotten into the house. My son tried to catch it to release it back outside & she hissed at him. Now every time she sees him she hisses at him.
• The last time my dog got mad at me was on Sunday when I told her her plain hamburger was all gone so she couldn't have anymore. She turned her head and gave me the silent treatment for hours!!! As you can tell, she's spoiled rotten.
• Put my cat on a diet…he glares at us and swishes his tail while perched on his food table watching us eat
• Got a roomba my dog looks at me like I'm a traitor
• Rearranged the couch cushions. They couldn't find their comfy spot. I kept getting the eyeball until I put them back.
