What Do You Hate About Your City Or State? – #TQOTD

Today's #TQOTD is because of Connie’s cabbie while she was on vacation in New York City.  He HAAAAATED NYC. He hated EVERYTHING about NYC. So, what is something that you hate about your city or state?

What do you hate about your city or state?

• #TQOTD What I hate about Michigan is the winters! I do fine with the cold, but the snow brings unpredictable driving conditions and that stresses me out
• After just being in NYC, and driving there...I'm going say, the "damn roads". I actually liked visiting NY and we stayed in an area that was subpar, however was never scared. We drove in, but only used the train and no other means of transportation.
• The lack of sunshine from November til April ☁️☁️☁️☁️
• How Grand Rapids thinks it’s so hip that it can skyrocket cost of living and attempt to gentrify absolutely everything near the downtown area.
• Home health care workers are way under paid
• Outsiders coming into my home town.....GETTTT OUT, or try to be polite✌
• I would have to say the roads and road construction
• I think for me, the list of things I like would be easier
• The I insurance rates.
• Everything!
• Road conditions/they redo the same roads every year while others keep getting worse. And now they are laying down cheap stuff that sounds like little stones hitting your vehicle because it doesn’t actually stay on the road.
• Winter, snow & cold!!!!!!
• It seems like for the last several years we haven't had much of a spring or fall, we basically just have 2 seasons: too hot and too cold
• Great question!! When living in Grand Rapids for 16 years (moved out 3 years ago), I hated the crime...theft, shootings, all of it. Now that I live in a small community, I hate the gossip. With that being said, I wouldn’t change a thing of what I’ve experienced! #michiganawesome
• I just hate how everybody always seems to be in a hurry or thinks they are better than others around them. Like come on! Take the time to slow it down every now and then to appreciate the little things life has to offer! Maybe they won't be so snooty then and learn to be kinder.
• I've been fined for stuff that is in my privacy fenced (except the entrance) back yard. I think they should spend more time worrying about the drug dealer across the street.
• Shootings we were so close to the ones downtown sat. I don't live in gr but that's what I hate about gr. The violence the shootings.
• I hate that Flint still doesn't have clean water after all these years.
• The roads and construction!!!
• The winters. So bloody cold.

• That we hardly see the sun.
• Insurance rates
• My town is stuck in the 1900s the old folks on the board aren’t willing to let our town have anything updated like fast food or anything ugh
• Expensive car insurance and high gas prices!

• Wisconsin....the city of Madison. 15 square miles surrounded by reality
• Segregation
• Illinois... Taxed to death...
• Wisconsin Dells.... all of it
• The TRAFFIC.!!! Virginia traffic is some of the worst in the country.
• Hamilton...way TOO conservative and the well water is gross.
• Ridiculous taxation and regulation
• Taxes, Illinois taxes are insane
• All the violence
• Rich snobs of
• Bible thumpers
• Gun violence!
• I hate the potholes about Michigan
• The thing that I don't like about Michigan is that we are losing so much of our farm land to developments. Thales farmers either can't afford to keep farming or they are too old and no one wants to take it over.
• #tqotd..... I live in kentwood too and i would say not enough real sit down restraunts and or space people live to close to eachother....... Also there is no bar within walking distance of where anyone lives....
• Humidity!!!
• I HATE MOSQUITOS!!!!!!!!!
• What I don’t like about Grand Rapids is that there have been so many shooting lately. I have been in Grand Rapids for 9 years and it has become very unsafe. I don’t even feel comfortable going down town at night.
• What I hate about my state of Michigan the high insurance rates. Kim, Coopersville
• I hate winter. But I love my state
• #TQOTD Can't think of anything I hate. I love that Marijuana is legal. My brothers smoke and I was always worried they'd get arrested. #puffpuffpass
• I dislike how cloudy it is easily affected by lack of sunshine.
• I live in West Michigan and I hate snow!!!
• I am in Wyoming and the think I hate about my city this that I have to three to six city bus to get place
• I live in Holland and I hate the drivers here. They caught you off a run red light, I hate all the drivers here
• I hate that everybody acts like they're Christian there's a church on every corner but everybody is judge mental and rude
• I HATE Michigan winters!!! So much that I moved to South Carolina alone just to escape them. Fortunately I work for an awesome company that lets me work in Michigan for the summer. #tqotd #perfectsnowbirdjob
• I really hate how rude people are here. Out west or down south people are SO nice!
• I’m from Kentucky and I hate that northern think we are stupid!
• What do I hate about living in Clearwater Florida? Where do I even begin...the stupid stuff Floridians do that always makes the news. There are so many people here from so many different states no one can drive. The older snowbirds that come here every year and every day are out for a Sunday drive. They drive so slooowww. And finally Hurricanes!
