TEXT QUESTION OF THE DAY:

  • Checking in a patient in their twenties that was born the year I graduated high school...
  • I had a brain tumor removed 3.5 years ago, which turned my world upside down. At 39 I have more issues and medications and a shorter life expectancy than someone 30 years older than myself
  • I suppose turning 41 this month, the fact my kids are all over 19 and I have 2 grandbabies makes me feel kinda OLD!!!
  • I was with a college student and I saw that TRL was on TV. I said, "Oh, TRL is still a thing?" To which she replied, "what's TRL?"
  • When my oldest daughter turned 18 this year, and my younger children saying, "whoa, you were born in the 80's"? ‍♀️
  • Not being allowed to renew my license when I turned 30 until I got glasses because I failed the eye exam.
  • I was at work and was asked what year I got married and one of my co workers said oh my god that is the year I was born. I felt so old.
  • When I turned over in bed and pulled a muscle

  • Having my ID checked at the store...and the young cashier excitedly says, "my mom was born that year!!!" I'm 37...
  • The 2 year old boy I used to take care of when I was in high school is now married with a child of his own.
  • I was in the checkout lane at the grocery store with my infant daughter and the lady bagging my groceries asked if she was my first grandchild. I was 37, I had a kid late in life

  • I work with kids and if I have to be on the floor and it takes a couple minutes to get off the floor and joints make noise lol
  • My 17yr old son asked what the Oregon Trail was (seeing a meme on fb about it). Told him it was like one of the first games on a computer and I played it back in elementary school. His response was "ohhh Vintage, I wanna try it!" as he was walking away. I said Vintage, wth? He said what. I said I'm not "vintage". He said "if you played that 30+yrs ago then yes you are". Ugh. I am NOT vintage!!
  • A girl at work asked me if I was alive during 9/11

  • When children card me for alcohol
  • My child is 11 and same height as me
  • #TQOTD I was in a major car accident just over a year ago and my foot/ankle is still recovering from it. Some days it is so swollen and stiff that I can barely walk, so I hobble around like an 80-year-old. I joke sometimes that while I'm 20, my body thinks that I'm 50 minus the menopause
  • TQOTD: Its simple to many Birthdays I have had a few more than others Keep them coming
  • First someone who is only a few years younger than me called me “ma’am”. Not cool, not cool at all. Second - 80s and 90s clothing coming back. I should have just kept all of my old stuff
  • I'm 65 and my body started feeling old when I started getting arthritis. But my mind is still young, keeping up with most of the newer techmology, listening to current popular music. and I try to let my mind win that debate with my body..
  • TQOTD: I turned 40 and 2 out of 5 kids graduated And I swear the age Gods said, " Strike her with as many aches and pains as you can the minute she turns 40!"
  • TQOTD What made me feel old? Went to my chiropractor and they told me I had arthritis in my neck. They said it was from bad posture most likely from the way I leaned forward while I played video games as a kid. Now I'm far more conscious about my posture so it doesn't get worse. PS I'm 28 years old. Arthritis at ky age is more common than people realize.
  • What makes me feel old is I was just told recently that I'M GOING TO BE A GRANDMA!!!!! I'M 38!!!!!
  • What makes me feel old? When the new heartthrob man comes out on the screen half naked and I feel like a complete pervert thinking he's hot.... Because I could technically be his mother
  • my son, on my 50th birthday Gave me a hug and said mom just think about it you're half way to dead now!I have never laughed so hard in my life! so I'm half dead... there's that

  • I feel old because a kid I work with told me they take standardized tests on the computer and not in a booklet anymore.
  • Last week I was talking to a woman who mentioned she lived in Lansing growing up. To make conversation I said "oh, I used to live in Lansing when I was in college. I helped open the Kohl's store there." Her reply: "I bought my training bras there!" That's when I realized it's been 20 years and I felt O-L-D!
  • I recently hired a new employee, he's 22. Last week I realized he is only a year older than my friend's niece who I have known since she was a baby. I was 20 when his niece was born. I'm 19 years older than my new employee and could be his mom. Oh, and when I told him this he kindly informed me his mom is a year younger than me...
  • It's your gay prison parolee again: I turned 40 last week and decided to try out sporting a beard. My beard has gray patches in it and I'm now 4 decades old. My 6 year old niece told me I'm fatter than the last time she saw me and when I look in the mirror I realize my ass is fluffy and no longer firm. Turning 40 has been an eye opener to the fact that I'm old!
  • TQOTD: What makes me feel old is that my own mom doesn’t remember how old I am. She talks about major historical events that happened in the 60s and 70s and expects me to have been there, witnessing them first hand like she did. She is completely surprised when I remind her I was born in 85.
  • TQOTD. What made me feel old? When my kids said, "Ok, Boomer." I'm Gen-X, dammit. I don't have a dog in this fight, just keep ignoring us and let us be angsty and wearing Chucks and flannel.

  • I workout alot and during the high intensity parts I pee a little every damn time. My kids think it's hilarious.
  • Found grey hairs in places you shouldn't
  • I did a cartwheel like 10 years ago when I was 38 or so. I didn’t fall but I cracked like every bone in my body, parts of my body started to go numb and I was so scared that I had done some serious damage. I had to sit for like 20 minutes before I felt normal again. Needless to say that is the last cartwheel I have ever done.
