SMILE … it’s the 9th best thing you can do with your lips. That was on a plastic thing my Mum bought me when I was a kid. Figuring out the other 8 would take a few years but the message stuck with me. Be good to others … treat all people with respect. You can accomplish all of that with a SMILE … at least that’s what I believe. So we wanted to learn what you “The Click of 6” believed … THUS the TQOTD:

TEXT QUESTION OF THE DAY:
What is one “unwritten rule” that you believe everyone should know and follow?

  • Do unto others as you would have done to you
  • Nothing good happens after midnight
  • Don’t double dip the chip
  • Never call unless someone dies. #textingwin
  • You don’t date your friend’s exes and you don’t date your ex’s friends.
  • Tip your Shipt Shopper, gas is expensive
  • Don’t stand directly in front of the elevator doors while you’re waiting. It doesn’t leave any space for people to exit.
  • You have to go at least 5 over the posted speed limit.
  • Don’t think you are better than anyone else.
  • Don't put it down. Put it away.
  • Chew with your mouth closed
  • Opinions are like but holes, everyone has them and they all stink... So never take someone else opinion to heart
  • If you are a guest at someone’s house, clean up after yourself and your kids.
  • If you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say anything at all!!!!
  • Always wash your hands after using the restroom not just the employees
  • Treat others how you want to be treated
  • Don't call the cops on your neighbors for stupid crap(goes double for the prank of "swatting")- this also goes for people who go to the ER for non-emergency medical situations. Both waste time and potentially put others you might not expect at risk.
  • Wave as a thank you when someone lets you in traffic
  • Wash your hands
  • Don't let your kids be loud or naughty in a restaurant
  • Remove your shoes when entering other's homes.
  • Let go, Let God.
  • Hold the door open when you know there's someone behind you. Doesn't matter if it's a man, a woman, black, white, young, old, you hold the door open.
  • Do a courtesy flush when pooping at a public place or someone's home.
  • Don’t hit women
  • Put your fkn cart away.
  • Have neighborhood etiquette.
  • Don't go into the stall right next to someone if you can avoid it.
  • EXPECT THE UNEXPECTED
  • Close your mouth and open your ears
  • If you can’t say anything nice don’t say anything at all
  • Please & Thank you and show respect
  • If I have a sign on my door stating "Don't knock baby sleeping" DONT KNOCK
  • When someone says to you, "Have a good day", don't just say "thanks". Say "thanks you too".
  • Everyone should sit to pee. Splashing happens.
  • Don't come up and try to talk to me while I'm on the phone.
  • Manners. Say please and thank you and hold the door open for others.
  • Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.
  • Don't pollute the weekend air with your lawnmower.
  • Slower drivers stay in the right hand lane.
  • Use your frickin turn signal. For the love of god, come on
  • Scrape and rinse your dishes before putting them in the sink
  • Life happens on life's terms, not ours.
  • Return things that you borrowed in better shape than when you borrowed it!
  • DO NOT JUDGE WHAT PEOPLE HAVE IN THEIR GROCERY CART IF PAYING WITH A BRIDGE CARD (this is a huge pet peeve of mine).
  • Don’t give advice unless someone asks for it.
  • Treat others as you wish to be treated
  • Walk on the right side of the sidewalk
  • 5 second rule...lol
  • Put things back where they belong… not were you think they belong!
  • Do NOT talk about Fight Club
  • Don't double dip
  • Manners matter
  • Don’t call after about 9 unless you KNOW the other person is ok with it. Put your cart back in the corral.
  • Flush before you leave
  • If you are in someone else's house and not paying rent, CLEAN IT.
  • Treat others and you would like to be treated and think before you speak!
  • Regardless if someone is religious or not, when you say "bless you" to someone sneezing, that person should at least say something back to you instead of nothing at all, even if it's, "oh I'm not religious, but thank you."
  • We're just trying to be nice.
  • Don’t ‘half ass it’.,,,’if you are going to do something, do it well, no matter what it is’…

  • Use common sense
  • Keep your mouth shut unless spoken too
  • Mind your own business
  • Be a decent and kind human being
  • Be kind and respectful
  • When in Rome do as the Romans do....
  • Love like crazy ❤️
  • When you're walking, pick up and dispose of trash along the way. I've done that with my kids since they were in the stroller and they still do this at 21, 16, and 5
  • The toilet paper roll always goes over the top!
  • Cover your dang mouth/nose with your elbow when you cough/sneeze. Especially in public.
  • You are free to choose, but you are not free from the consequences of your choice.
  • Only because I’ve witnessed this not happen, ALWAYS pull over for emergency vehicles, and ALWAYS pull off the side of the road for a funeral procession, show some respect
  • Be yourself. Not what other people want you to be.
  • Chew with your mouth closed
  • Put the cart back in the coral! Unless you have a physical disability, there is no reason to leave it wherever.
  • If you are listening to the radio or just to music with someone and they say "this is my favorite song" or their "new favorite song" you should pause and let the song play! Don't talk over it, don't ignore it, let them listen to the damn song!!
  • "No" is not an offensive word, and boundaries are healthy.
  • No matter how much better you THINK you are, people still need to ring up your groceries, stock the shelves, take your order (since you're good enough to eat "there"), and clean up after you so be kind to service worker you are so not better than they are!!!!
  • Never take the middle urinal
