What is something you are really glad that you did?

  • #TQOTD I'm glad I listened to Connie and fish this morning. Duh! Okay but seriously, I am glad that I took the chance at getting to know the guy I am with now. Our personalities are so different, but when it comes to morals and the things that matter, it's like we're the same person.
  • Really glad I went to tonight’s Mumford and Sons concert in Detroit. Even though I will be a zombie at work tomorrow.....I mean today ‍♀️ Shoutout to the hubby for driving us home!
  • Vertical Sleeve Gastrectomy.
  • Went back to school to get my masters degree. I've learned so much about myself in the process!
  • Get divorced

  • Swallowed my fears and had a prophylactic bilateral mastectomy after testing positive for the genetic mutation BRCA1. My MRI showed precancerous cells...My breasts were ticking time bombs. Hardest decision I’ve ever had to make but so glad I did. And, despite the complications that followed, I’ll never regret it. I saved my life.
  • Broke up with my ex
  • I am so glad I took the time to travel whenever I could. After high school, I went to Spain and Senegal in West Africa. After college, I spent a summer working at the Grand Canyon. At 25 I lived for a summer in England. I’ve never learned more about myself than when I was experiencing another culture.
  • I am so happy that I had weight loss surgery. My family still doesn't know. they would be so judgemental. My insurance wouldn't cover it so I did medical tourism in Mexico for a quarter of the price. I'm over 100 lb down and life is great
  • I am so glad I am not the only one that Fish pulls that baby question on lol. Anyway, I am so glad that I got married and had my 4 kids. Also that I spent all the time I did with my dad and made memories with him before he passed my senior year of highschool in 07

  • Moving to Asia (Hong Kong) in 2010. experience has totally changed my perspective and outlook on the world.

  • Spending a month in Thailand, experiencing their culture in one of the hill tribes and volunteering at a Jungle Sanctuary with elephants. It was amazing.
  • Went in the army. Enjoyed Europe while in and have friends all over the place.
  • Got married young and had two wonderful kids. I couldn't have asked for a better life outcome, considering where I came from!

  • TQOTD. What's something I'm really glad I did.. Even though we struggled financially many many times, I'm so glad I stayed home with my kids until they started school full time. I was able to be there for almost every moment of their early life.
  • I am so glad that I adopted a dog last October. Her name is Ruby and I love her so very much! She has gained about 20lbs since and is living her best life. She completes my son and I. We call her Mooby, among other things...because she is very plump and looks like a cow!
  • Something glad I did- joined weight watchers! 60lbs down!
  • I am so glad that I finally started traveling by myself. I am taking trips with family and with my now ex-husband and after my divorce, I started traveling by myself. I absolutely love it.

  • Text question of the day: I’m really glad I did a study abroad in Europe. I got to spend a month in Italy, and another 3 weeks traveling around by myself seeing and doing whatever I wanted. It was the most liberating experience of my life and I’m so glad I got to do that.
  • I am really glad that I Graduated from college as a Medical Assistant with an Associates Degree of Science. Now I work as a Medical Assistant.

  • I'm really glad I went to college. I realize it may sound cliche, but I needed to get out of my small hometown and meet new people. That was some of the best times of my life. I met my first love there and though we are not together, I'm glad I met him.

  • I am so glad I got weight loss surgery. My insurance wouldn't cover it I flew to Mexico on medical tourism and got the surgery for 1/4 the cost. My family doesn't even know because the judgment would be overwhelming. I've lost over 100lbs.

  • TQOTD: When my dad died we buried him in my country and we stayed there for long. I was a minor and I convinced my family to buy my brother and I, plane tickets to go back to Puerto Rico so we didn't lose our green cards. So I take credit for my brother's success even tho he hates my guts. I'm glad I did that cause now I'm in Michigan and LOVEEEET!
  • Something that I'm glad I did was have my kids in my early 20's!!! The 2nd thing would be that I went skydiving when I turned 30!!

  • Guys the best thing I've ever done in my life, and not even what I've done but what my parents did for me, is deciding to adopt me. I would have such a different life and so many fewer opportunities were it not for them. I love them so much.
  • The best thing I have ever done is to say yes to my fiancé when he asked me to marry him and buy a house with him so young. Now I get to spend the rest of my life with my best friend and go on so many adventures

  • When I was 25 I got engaged to my abusive boyfriend of 7 years. I'm glad I finally had the courage to break it off after being engaged for 2 months. It prompted me to realize my worth, get a promotion and transfer from California to Chicago, where I learned to be myself. I met my now husband a year after I moved, and moved here to Michigan a year ago. I cannot imagine how my life would be if I wouldn't have left him all those years ago.
  • Two years ago I rescued a cat. I never would've known how close he'd become, til I had him awhile. He loves his daddy. He comes first. He's solid black, n weighs 30 pounds!!, n he's a cuddler!!!

  • I'm really glad that around Thanksgiving time this past year I applied for a new position at work that I thought I had no shot of getting. I've been in my new role for almost 4 months now and it is already the best decision I've ever made!
  • I'm most proud that I moved to Chicago right out of college and lived on my own before I got married. Backstory: growing up, my mom got divorced and was later widowed while my brother and I were young and I saw how strong that my mom is and wanted to prove to myself that I could make it on my own and be an adult that could pay the bills, set up gas and electric, etc if I had to before I settled down and got married. It made me so much stronger as a person and more confident.
  • I'm glad I married my husband. I was 29 when I finally found the love of my life. I became a bonus mom to 2 amazing kids! I'm glad I had my daughter ( didn't think I could have kids because of being on depo for so long) she's the light of my life!
