I am not crazy enough to think that Renee and Norm will be my neighbors forever but it is a FACT that we are all buddies and those guys win the BEST NEIGHBOR EVER award. It’s the friendships and the way we all like to hang out. Plus he is an engineer and I am funny so we work well together…. LOL. So what about the Click of 6?

TEXT QUESTION OF THE DAY:
What made someone the best neighbor you ever had?

  • They were (still are) all around amazing people. Always have a big smile on their face whenever we see them. They're genuinely loving and caring and im glad to have them in our lives
  • When I lived in GA, my neighbor was a sweet older couple, I was from the north and they filled me in on things I should know about living in the south. Oh and he killed the poison snakes for me.
  • The December after my husband passed away my neighbor plowed our driveway for us and would not take any money.
  • We don’t talk to them and they don’t talk to us. We both just mind our own business. Best neighbors ever.
  • My neighbor loves my kids like they were her own, she’s always willing to do anything for anyone
  • My former neighbor was my momma. We were foolish and moved outta town just to return
  • My neighbors now! We all work together to help each other out. We have a co-op between us, we help each other's kids, we party together, we plan our vacations around each other's family milestones, go to each other's kids' games... extended family really.
  • We were blessed with wonderful neighbors who essentially adopted our kids as their grandkids. From the time my son was born they started buying him presents for every holiday (he’s 16 now). They continued it with my daughter who is 7. They’d even buy us turkeys and hams along with the fixings for holiday dinners. It was a blessing during some hard times. Unfortunately, she passed away last year and him a couple years prior. They were the best neighbors and are missed greatly.
  • Taking your dog out for you when you have to be gone all day
  • I am good with neighbors who leave me alone.
  • Adult daughter would babysit our kids, drop us at the bar and pick us up. Day drinking of course. She was going to law school.
  • I have the best neighbor on the planet! He helps out anyone in need if he can, let’s my pups out if I work late, we share our trash and yard waste bins (if either of us has extra we can toss it in the others) just a genuine nice dude!
  • We used to have a house that backed up to a cemetery. Best. Neighbors. Ever.
  • The best neighbors/friends we could ever have just sold their house They are the most genuine people I've ever met. They make me strive to be a better person & mom. Even though they are younger than us I value the sound parenting advice they have provided to me and never worry about my kids when their family is out and around.
  • Never had a great neighbor!!
  • Our former neighbor kept treats in his garage for our dog. She would belly crawl over the property line to see him.
  • Our neighbor always made no bake cookies and was home all day after retiring so when our daughter was home alone after school and needed anything he was available. He nicknamed her squirt.
  • When I lived in Louisville, KY and was going through chemo after a divorce and was having seizures due to epilepsy, my neighbor would check on me at least twice a day to make sure I was ok.
  • I have a lot of decent neighbors- none of which have lived above me. (Apartment life sucks because people are ridiculous)
  • They loved our crazy shenanigans, would party with us and would help make huge Fourth of July firework setups for the whole neighborhood and never complained when my husband messed with his stereo system in his truck or his messy garage, lol. We are all still friends even though we are no longer neighbors
  • He would let me try all of his bbq and offer me drinks! I love you Kevin!
  • Coming to grab my kids while I was getting hauled off in an ambulance at the drop of a dime. As well as calling my husband to let him know. Always being there not only for my kids but the whole family. No judgement not questions asked. Ever. And treating us like family from day one.
  • They were (still are) all around amazing people. Always have a big smile on their face whenever we see them. They're genuinely loving and caring and i'm glad to have them in our lives
  • My next door neighbor's dad came from Mexico and he'd shovel my sidewalk so I could leave for work at 4am with my son who was a baby at the time. I was so grateful and sad when he had to go back because of 9/11.
  • My husband and I have amazing neighbor who has helped us plow our driveway during the winter
  • we have the nicest neighbors that give my son hand me down clothes, that let us use their lawn mower, bake us desserts, give us frozen dinners, buy me lotto tickets, etc.
  • Not my best neighbor but from what Ive been told my parents are the best neighbors. My mom takes goods and food to neighbors in need. My dad who is 70 still shovels sidewalks for neighborhood school kids, helps next door with sprinkler systems, walks another neighbors dog when they are unable. They really try to give back to their community so much they know everyones names and kids call them nana and papa.
  • Helped me walk across the street home after a deck party at her house and I drank way too much and couldn't walk straight. What are neighbors for, right?!?
  • My neighbor growing up used to tell us kids that he planted ice cream cone seeds in our yard each spring. Throughout the summer on random days he’d put ice cream cones in his yard for us kids to pick. I still have no idea how he did it but I vividly remember the cones being in the grass and picking one to eat. Like hand scooped ice cream. We all loved it.
  • My neighbor who has since passed he would go with me and wait in line to buy Beanie Babies for our kids
  • We went on family vacations with our neighbors while I was growing up, so many memories and we're still very close!
  • Had a tree fall in our backyard. Covered our deck and whole yard. Could not tell if it got the house. Our neighbor sick with cancer still came over with a flashlight to check on us to make sure we were ok.
  • We have bonfires every weekend, happy hour Friday, and now we are just like family
  • The people in the neighborhood we live in are the reason we haven't moved. I have made some of my best friends there and we help each other out. Kindness goes a long way.
  • She would come over and make me feel better
  • My neighbors took in my 9 year old after I suffered SCA, and ended up with a long hospital stay, over 45 days. They celebrated Christmas with him, included him in everything, it was amazing. I am still very thankful to this day!
  • When I lived right next door to Connie & Fish! They were always so kind and generous to the teenager next door(me). And they had the best, sweetest dog Allie!
