What Were The Signs That You Shouldn't Have Gotten Married?

Everyone has a sweet story about how you knew your spouse was the one, but we don't want to hear that. No, we want to hear about a sign that you shouldn't have married you spouse or ex-spouse.

What were the signs that you should not have gotten married?

On our one night honeymoon we went to Little River Casino, I don't gamble per say so I played the poker games at the bar because I do drink lol. Struck up a great conversation with an older fellow for awhile as my now ex husband gambled elsewhere. Me and this gentleman were talking and he collapsed, fell right over. He ended up passing away. . That's a sign
When both sets of parents said don't do it, and to run! If I only had listened.
I should have ran the minute I met him as he didn't have a stable job or a place to live...lesson learned 13 years later
As for omens, like every single one happened on my wedding day that screamed "run", but did I listen, noooo.... lol

When he had no respect for me dating. We were both stupid and young. 12 years down the hole and 8 years married before a divorce
When at pre-Cana, while sharing what drew us to our partner, he told everyone it was purely physical.
When a mutual coworker warned me that he could be cheating on me, and I thought it was because he was jealous of my ex. I married him anyway and later found out the coworker was right. Also, an astrologer who never even met him took one look at his birth chart and said, “this is a man who cannot stay faithful to one woman.” Took me awhile (and two sons) to figure out he’d never change and I finally divorced him.
My mom always told me to never marry someone who already had kids! Truer words were never spoken! But we made it and we are strong #bepickierwithyourpartslol
Intimidation/ultimatums to get me to do things his way -Ridiculous anger -
That I was his 4th wife that should of told me something.
When his dad calls on the first date and he answers.
When he only married me (after dating for almost 5 years) when he knocked me up. And his mother was a drunk psycho who assaulted me, but he still wanted me to be nice to her. #6YearsSinceMyEscape
His own grandmother told me not to marry him. She said they love me, but they thought I could do better. Lol

My son married a girl who believes in an open marriage . He never should have married her . Open marriage condones cheating . NOPE NOPE NOPE
I don’t like when he started punching walls and cabinets whenever he was mad while we were dating. Should've ran then

when I couldn't find him at our reception for a couple hours. He was probably out in some car with another Broad or smoking pot. 28 years I was married to him , he was gone a lot .Cheater, cheater, pumpkin eater.
Hahaha. On the way to the rehearsal the truck in front of me had a refrigerator in it and it fell out I had to swerve to miss it. Then on the way to rehearsal dinner my maid of honor sang me the National anthem at the top of her lungs and we nearly turned right in front of a car. Nice guy...never should have married him them when I told my mom I was going to get a divorce...she said I am not going to try to stop you. Now I call that guy “the place holder” as he kept me in a different state while i found my guy!
The part where we each have a candle that is lit and we light the bigger candle together? Well I dropped my candle and I froze. People were telling me to pick it up and I couldn't lol.
When he proposed to me two weeks after I caught him cheating with "the one I shouldn't worry about" Yes, I dumped him the second I was able to.

A week before my week The best man informed me that my soon to be husband was seeing other people. When I asked him he denied it, I never told him who told me. Ten years later we divorced for the same thing
I got married to my now ex husband at a beautiful gazebo overlooking lake Michigan. During the ceremony a cop pulled someone over and during the entire ceremony lights and sirens were going off! LOL
When your now EX wife got her wedding dress before I asked her to marry me
when she wouldn't stop doing drugs, even after we had our son. She chose drugs over having a family
My sign that I should not have married him... when he told me he wanted to get married so he would always have a designated driver...‍♀️
He cheated with me when we first met on his gf that I didn't know about and then after we were married he cheated on me. Now divorced.
When I knew that we shouldn't have been married? We were having an argument about money after our honeymoon and I asked him if he trusted me. He told me that trust is something that you earn and I hadn't yet. The word trust was even in our vows.

Okay so my sign should have been that when he proposed to me which he did out in the woods on the snowmobile trail but yes that part was romantic but then we went back to a restaurant to have a nice dinner and the whole time he sat there and flirted with the waitress and it was so bad his friend sitting there said something to him about it and then when we got on the snowmobile to go riding some more he knocked me off of the back of the snowmobile and kept driving about a mile and a half down the road and some guys in a truck stopped and said are you okay so I almost got in the truck with them and went to a bar with him to have some drinks which I should have done and that's why he is an ex
When he called me a “B” when we were painting the interior walls of my house so I could sell it to move in with him 4 years before he proposed. SMH we are now in the end stages of divorce.
My ex had a buddy whose dad owned a funeral home. Because he was so cheap we used the funeral home family car to drive from the church to take pictures then to the reception. Should’ve known then in was doomed. Here’s your sign!
