What’s A Good Thing That’s Happened To You In 2020? – #TQOTD

It's pretty much the general consensus that 2020 has been one of the worst years on record.  So, we want you to give us a reason why it wasn't.

What’s a good thing that’s happened to you in 2020?

• In 2020 I got married and landed my first full time job out of college! It’s been a slow journey but a rewarding one.
• Text Question of The Day: My husband & I are Expecting our First Baby!!We just celebrated our 3 Months until Due Date yesterday (Tuesday), which also happened to fall on our 2 Year Wedding Anniversary Everything is going great & we can't wait to meet little Luna
• I got divorced and met my soulmate!
• My adult stepdaughter moved out!
• A good thing that's happened to me in 2020 is after 8 years I decided to go back to high school for a diploma and buying my first house!
• My third grandchild was born! First grandson! And I climbed a mountain in Glacier National Park.
• The best thing that has happened to me this year is that I ended an unhealthy relationship.
• I FINALLY passed the bar and was sworn in as an attorney!
• I paid off all of my credit cards in 2020☺️☺️
• This year was rough. My father in law passed away (not Covid). The silver lining is he left everything to my husband and I (only child) and told us to pay off our house with his estate. Everything has now been settled with the estate so today I will go and pay off our house! We are now in our 30's and completely debt free

• TQOTD: A year ago this November I left a 4 yr very unhealthy relationship where he had a drinking problem. When he drank he would yell at me and calk me names and was controlling. This past year has been awesome where I have lived My Life without being belittled or yelled at all the time!
• 2020 I personally really loved being home with my kids and family for 6 months and getting to be together with no place to go...no sports, dance or school. It was great to make memories and slow down. Even if we didn't go anywhere specific.
• Had my baby July 3rd!
• TQOTD-Best thing to happen this year is I became a grandma at 38!!!! I've upgraded to a GILF
• Something good that happened this year? My whole perspective changed this year. I used to have a more negative cynical outlook but being in a world that is obscenely negative right now it made me realize how absolutely ridiculous and annoying and contagious to others it is. I’m doing everything I can to be positive in conversations, posts, actions and thoughts. Seriously life changing.
• I got promoted last month after working my butt off all year!
• My husband’s college basketball team he helps to coach was ranked number one in the country and the only team undefeated before the NCAA cancelled their sweet 16 game.
• Started a new WFH gig and I'm successful!
• Paid off my debt consolidation, paid off my medical bills, paid off my car and I was approved for the apt that I wanted. I have been able to spend time with my grandsons and my daughters, and I'm still pulling A's in my master's program
• Honestly got closer to my husband and kids. We got 6 weeks of togetherness and we really needed it. We played games, talked, argued, argued, argued some more and did puzzles. And we ate dinner at the table every night. I’m hindsight it was really nice.
• I graduated with my master's degree, passed the state board license exam, and got a job I absolutely love
• I got my first job after getting my masters degree in a field I love!
• Hubby & I got accomplished around the house this year. New flooring, landscaping.
• Got a promotion at work, bought a new truck, remained healthy and continuing to work on my running goals
• I got married ~ right before the COVID 19 lockdown!
• Going back to college to add another degree to my resume.
• Enjoyed my 55th birthday 5 days before the world closed. My restaurant closed, which lead me to a much higher paying, stable job. And I'm going to be a GREAT GRANDMA in December!!
• I had my first baby! A sweet little girl, Evelyn!
• Got to spend a few days in missouri with my aunt that I havent seen in years. And got to spend a week with my grandbabies,1 of whom was born 12-24-19 in Connecticut
• Bought a house, paid of a lot of debt, got engaged!
• Found happiness in things I've viewed in a negative way for so long
• Beat cancer!!
• Am able to work from home, with no bra!
• The Bundt cake I made last night came out of the pan perfectly.
• My baby girl who will come into the world Friday
• Bought a house!
• My first grandson was born
• Met my soulmate
• I got a new job, bought a house and my daughter, her family moved back to Michigan and I’m going to be a grandma again!
• We got a family trip to Florida in before all the madness started, other then that 2020 blows i just lost my granny to covid
• Got closer to my best friend
• Making each visit enjoyable with deep talks laughter tears and love
• Bought a new truck
• Spending cocktail hour with my sister in law #FamilyIsEverything
• COVID...because of that my husband and I reconnected with our 3 kids (17yo, 15yo, and 12yo). We were able to slow down and enjoy each other.
• I was able to watch my first grandchild be born! Best thing ever!!!
• I found out I’m going to be a grandma again!!
• Completed chemotherapy in February.
• I had my second baby boy and I bought a new car!
• I bought a new car and got a promotion at work!
• New tattoo that gets finished next weekend!
• My first grandchild was born!
• New car and new job!
• Bought my baby boy!
• Bought a new car! I still smile every day when I see it in the driveway.
• I lost 40 pounds!
• I got pregnant after trying for 5 years and I got my dream job after graduating college 8 years ago
• Ha not one thing it's been a shit storm all year it just hasnt stopped im living on prayers and hopes cuz that's how I have to deal with life
• One daughter had twins and my other daughter was able to get pregnant after years of infertility!!!
• I finally got my boy after 3 girls.
• We bought our first house!
• I got engaged!!!
• Well it technically started in 2019, but I won a smile makeover and it's been an ongoing process over the last few months. Should be getting my final set of dental implants within the next couple of weeks. It's been a huge confidence booster. I've never been so excited to smile (still smile even when I have to wear the dang mask)
• This goofy puppy needed a new home, and it turned out that we needed him!
• Im still breathing lol
• I got married!
• The best thing that happened to me is actually something that did not happen. I have not gotten pregnant. Yay!!
